Some have accused Kamma Kaal (aka Kevin Wiggins, or simply K) of using his position as Secretary General of the United Nations of Snacks to promote his musical group Snacks. They, of course, are right.

The celebrated Mr. K began as a drummer specializing in the primal, merciless pounding of the skins. As his creative urges grew, he began to display symptoms of (gasp!) LEAD DRUMMER SYNDROME, and he knew it was time to make the leap into songwriting and studio craft.

Following his primitive musical instincts (READ: can't play anything complicated) and his love of simplicity (READ: can't understand anything complicated), he took the helm of Snacks as their chief songwriter.

This reincarnated Norse Viking (referred to on the earthly plane as Brett Kull) is responsible for the tasteful stringed sounds that can be found on Snacks' latest album, United Nations of Snacks. Proficient equally on the mandolin or banjo as on a conventional 6-string, his advanced harmonic understanding and lack of body odor drove Snacks through many late nights in the studio, where he acted as co-producer.

Brett added new dimensions of flavor to United Nations of Snacks with concrete solid rhythm guitar foundations, soaring lap steel washes, searing electric leads, and crystalline vocal harmonies.

Mr. Kull has provided his guitar, vocal, and production skills from bands as varied as AAA sweethearts Grey Eye Glances to legendary philoso-rockers Echolyn. Brett's solo work is a refreshing dose of mellowness perfect for a summer Sunday.

Bassist Cutty (aka John Richardson) is K's oldest and most powerful musical ally. They met years ago when Cutty answered K's ad seeking "open-minded, creative and original musicians to blast away the existing structures of music." A modest request, indeed. Surly Cutty and Overweening K met and suspicion and distaste loomed heavy on the air. It was not yet time.

Fast-forward 1 year later when the two again met, this time at an audition for the art-rock band November. They quickly became November's rock-solid rhythm section, and equally solid spiritual mates, and cut their teeth in the bars and clubs of Newark, DE. Cutty left November to be part of the coffee house heroes Trone, and reunited with K in Snacks for 2003's The Cinnamon Show.

Cutty holds sway over tracks with his unconventional, soulful, angular, and above all else melodic bass lines; making him a legend among men and Snacks' musical hero.
